I'm not going to hit you, I love all compliments on stories. I totally get what youre saying and I felt it too as I was writing, this was like my 5th draft, but I couldnt find the space....if that makes any sense. I was trying to thread it correctly but the needle was not being my friend. It sucks but thats the way it is and I dont know if I can get any better than that with this particular story. I push as far as I can go and then I just stop....I can only do what I can do before I want to thrust it into the fire. All in all, I am satisfied with the work.
What do you mean, a different dynamic? I know they are nothing like CJ and Leo, who bring the drama and angst sometimes but what do you mean? I love Devlin, and I actually considered her for John Hoynes but decided on Leo instead. She has that strength to handle the blows he goes through and the passion and spirit to bring him back from the edge. Plus I like the fact that she doesnt work at the White House and isnt at all enmeshed in that aspect of his life.....she can take him to another place.
