PUBLIC POST CUZ I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET
I know I have some German speakers on my f-list so I have a question. In my story, Jason calls his daughter his 'little precious one'. I went to a German/English translation site and got 'klein geliebt eins'. Since I dont speak German, this is just a direct translation. Will it sound silly when I write it in my story? Is there something more informal I could use? Any help would be awesome. I really need to learn some foreign languages....my lack of knowledge is kinda ridiculous.

Um, also, OK I can haz music question? What songs make you long, yearn, for someone and even if they dont make you, you think they are good longing songs. The first one that popped into my head was (Dont Stand) So Close to Me by The Police, cuz it was on the radio and cuz not many writers do longing like Sting. I want to add some music to this totally UST scene I'm getting ready to write in my AU. Any help is totally appreciated.
Also......do this meme. You guys know my fandoms and my pairings, though I dont know how much West Wing I can churn out at this point. I'm gonna leave this public so everyone can see. Thanks a million.

To anyone who doesnt loathe Jason Gideon, and even if you do, to anyone who knows of the character......what do you think he smells like? I have an idea in my head, but I cant put it into words. I always imagined Hotch smelling fresh, kinda like a field after a rain, like Armani's Acqua Di Gio, or Lever 2000 Fresh Rain body wash. But I cant put Jason into words. I think he smells smoky, but not like cigarette smoky but like the woods, his cabin, fresh air......I have no clue what I'm saying.
