I left the plantation at 1:30, ran an errand, got some lunch, and brought myself home. I put my pajamas back on and maxed out on my bed with my laptop and my brand new AU. I typed up the first 15 pages for a still untitled story that puts a twist on It Takes a Village and has Emily and Ian as estranged parents of a kidnapped boy. Since nothing much else is going on, and that is just fine by me, I thought I would post the beginning here and try to get some feedback. Dont everyone jump at once *lol* Love or hate Ian Doyle, I would love to know what people think.

Now I'm gonna go and get some dinner and finish relaxing. Plans to clean have been postponed but not officially canceled.

( I have like 5 ideas for titles for this and none of them quite give me that good shiver. Know what I mean? )

OK guys, you know I'm writing an AU where Emily's in a rock band and she's being stalked. Well its called Babylon, after the name of Emily's band. I decided to post a piece, since I'm 15,000 words in and almost 40 pages. Its killing me cuz I have to make it a case fic but its also one I'm working hard on and wanna share. So I'm sharing. Here is Hotch and Prentiss, meeting for the first time. Hope you enjoy it...feedback is loverly.

I dont often do public posts as you end up with a vast amount of comment spam from people you never heard of with weird sentences about Harry Potter or Twilight. But there are many people who I am 'friends of' because of my fic and I wanted them to be able to see this too. I hate to call this the post where I toot my horn, that's not it. I wrote 196 fics in 2010. Here are some that stood out for me. Maybe others stood out for you and that's awesome. It's time for the cmfanficawards nominations so if you like my fic, here are some of last year's highlights IMO.

And still another group might think there are some fics I didnt even mention that fit the categories better. I mean, I know it would have been different but hell, like I need an excuse for some G/P. All this meme really proves is I have a lot of cheesy love songs in my media player. But I love them anyway.

I am having some kind of problems with my DSL so I spent most of the day completely frustrated. My sister was downstairs plugged into dialup because we have had some problems hooking up both computers to the DSL. I didnt want to tell her that her being on affected me because she has a tendency to be spiteful and I know she would get on at all times because she is jealous of my having it. She ended up being on for almost 8 hours, even when she was doing other things. I was so angry. I didnt say anything today but if it happens again I have to because I pay for the DSL, the AOL (which I am about to get rid of), and both computers. No way in hell is she going to keep doing something like that when I pay for all of these things. Thousands of dollars are going into these computers and all of this crap to hook them up......I am going to be on whenever I feel like it. Dammit! OK, RANT OVER. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

Good news, done part two of This Woman series and I will post it here for anyone who cares to read it. I dont have much else to say because it has just been an exhausting day. Hope anyone who reads the story likes it....this coupling is becoming exciting for me.

I Hear... watching special on the death penalty

Today is All Saints Day and though that means nothing for me as I am not a Catholic I wanted to mention it anyway. OK, now that thats out of the way. I am happy today. I am going to enjoy it as it is not my default position. No one at work annoyed me today though my favorite person called out sick so it left the office kinda empty and quiet. Next month I would have been at this new job a year, I can hardly believe it. A year has gone by and I'm trying to remember what happened to it. I did some good things....my therapist cannot stop talking about all the progress I have made, but I want to do more. That too is for another time, because I am happy and I am about to list the reasons why.

1) I'm breathing....sometimes it is all a girl has.
2) I think I'm going to start training for a marathon to lose weight. I'm too chunky and I would like to do something about that.
3) I still find ideas to write about. That is just a blessing and I pray it never leaves me, no matter in what form.
4) I've been two days soda free at work....see #2. This is a big deal.
5) American Gangster comes out tomorrow in all of its Denzel deliciousness. Mmmmmmmm :-)
6) I have a free weekend, which means as much movies, books, and writing as my little heart desires.

OK, thats enough. So, other than that things are average in my universe. I finished the Leo/OFC thing and as promised I am going to post it right here for the masses. I am also going to post on national library as my quest to get to 500 looms. Oh btw, the guy I thought was really boring in my writing class intrigues the hell out of me. Not in that oh god, must have hot sex with him kinda way, but in the way we need to have a drink/cup of coffee and discuss this more kind of way. I love to pick people's brains and find out as much as I can about their worlds....its the sociologist in me.
