Therapy tonight was awesome, we had a good long talk about where things are and where I want them to go, which I will surely discuss with all of you later. You all know the reason I'm here.....lets get to it, shall we?


OK, so WTF Ed Bernero.......Jonathan Frakes a mo? That shit is just wrong. Plain ol 100%, fucked up wrong. What's next, Captain Picard is going to decapitate people? You already ruined Wesley Crusher and now this? Just stay the hell away from Adam Arkin. He is pure in my heart and you have a way of always crushing it. Moving on......

I was thinking of going point by point with this episode but find myself nearly speechless. OMG, firstly, it was amazing. Utterly amazing. Well acted, well paced, well written, well directed. Somehow I missed the credits so I dont know who did all of those things but I would go so far as to say it was one of the best episodes this season.

I am never one for sympathetic Unsubs, feeling bad for murderers doesnt sit well with me. But the shit that poor girl went through at the hands of her father, a trusted doctor....I wanted to eviscerate him myself. And Reid went postal on him without even having to raise his voice, it was brilliantly played. Just like a chess game.

Garcia's new hair.....damn girl, get on the couch I want to do you right now. I mean, is it just me or is she uber-sexy? I know its not just me.

I was expecting a little "w00bie" Hotch, especially with the previews saying he was going to have trouble adjusting at work but he looked like Hotch to me, in control, in command, leading his team. I noticed the mask slipped just the tiniest bit when they mentioned the Unsub losing her mother at a young age and then going psychotic but it turns out there was a lot more shit going on than that.

Dude, never climb into a car....havent you ever seen The Silence of the Lambs? Its the same scheme Buffalo Bill used. To the letter. I know people want to be helpful and probably felt that didnt need to fear a woman but you couldnt have paid me to climb into a dark van, there could have been someone else waiting in there to conk me over the head. Thank God I know waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much about serial killers and stuff.

Bethany was brave and tough. I liked that the medicine took the alternate effect and when she said "We're leaving", Murry and I both whooped. Yes, we actually whooped.

My Morgan/Prentiss antennae tingled a bit during this ep. OMG, innerslytherin, I totally blame you for that.

Great teamwork, a teeny weeny bit of subtext, a compelling storyline....what can I say, amazing episode. What did you guys think?


Things coming together well for My Immortal, I got a lot of good dialogue on the bus ride home. Did work at work today, tomorrow is Thursday, and there was no BS staff meeting this morning. So all in all, it was a damn good Wednesday. Next week's episode looks fierce!!!!

I have to agree, great episode on pretty much every level, and is just me or does Paget Brewster just keep getting hotter. I mean she always looks great, but every ep this season she has looked pretty phenomenal..the grey suit today..i loved it! (silly fangirl moment over)

I did love Reid in this episode, which is nice because I am normally pretty ambivalent about him in general.

I like when the unsubs are actually crazy, and can't help it...so much easier to feel for them, and I totally agree about Criminal Minds trying to turn all my TNG actors into bad dudes...stay away from Picard

Great quotes in this ep too! Can't go wrong with Assimov.

Yeah, I'm pretty ambivalent about Reid as well and actually really liked him in this episode. There was nothing about it I didnt like, Hotch and Prentiss even spoke to each other....good times.

And its totally not just you, Paget gets more beautiful with every episode. Did she get a haircut....her hair was starting to get reaaaaaaaallllly long and it was driving me crazy but it looked great tonight.

Most of my peers seem to think I'm paranoid, but I'm extra-cautious when it comes to personal safety and I have been even since before watching this show. There are so many instances on this show (and others) where I'm saying to the tv, "don't do it!" I understand wanting to help someone in distress, but I don't trust anyone I don't know. I would have asked her if she needed me to call someone to help her, but in a dark parking lot with no one else around I would not have gotten into the back of her van by myself. Ridiculous!

I'm with you on caution. I always have been, but I've been reading about crime and serial killers since I was 10. I dont know what idiot would climb into the back of someone's car. And my mom and I both said last night, we probably would have helped her. But helping doesnt mean you have to become a victim....

my mom and I discussed this last night as well, and as hyper aware and "common sense" smart as I tell myself I am, I probably would have helped her just like that girl. It was nice to see a victim get kidnapped/killed without being totally stupid about it(i.e Roadkill)...makes it so much more realistic when you can put yourself in the vics shoes.

It is awesome when you can put yourself in the victims' shoes and when they are badass. She was helpful, got kidnapped, but didnt lay there and take it. I mean she was lucky her diabetes made the medicine react differently but she took that luck and turned it into something.

There was definitely a Prentiss/Morgan vibe going on. I have to admit, I liked it, though I am still faithful to H/P. Reid kicked ass in this ep, and MGG did a great job doing it, I think. It was a great ep all around, though disturbing, but I guess that makes sense, since it's CM. Oh yeah, and Garcia's hair was so pretty.

I'm still about H/P but its fun to see Morgan and Prentiss vibing off each other, I've always been a friendshipper of those two.
