PLEASE DONT POST IN THE
bau_inbox. THANK YOU.
What a day, I was glad for my show and the distraction. Lets get to it, shall we?
I dont have tons to say about this episode. This is usually followed by a bunch of talking but I'm going for bullet points. Here we go.....
--I am still loving redhead Garcia.
--I am in love with David Eigenberg. Even frumpy with nervous ticks I still love him.
--Murry was mad the cute cupid from Charmed played the Unsub. Ed Bernero strikes again.
--Annabeth Gish FTW!!!!!
--Damn, Morgan is fine. And he has his facial hair back. Praise the lord.
--I wouldnt be able to keep track of all those names either. I'm surprised he didnt go postal sooner.
--Was surprised when the family showed up.
--The look on Rossi's face when "Steve" was looking out the window on the plane. Priceless.
--I got a fic idea. Yay!!!!! I dont need subtext Bernero, I know you were still looking out for me. Thanks Ed. Next week though, right, huh, maybe.....
This wasnt the most exciting episode on the planet but enjoyed it. It was a lot more Unsub than team, which I'm OK with, but all the team elements were good. And dammit, Emily Prentiss is a gorgeous, intelligent woman. Its hard for me not to visibly drool over her. She is made of the most win. I am so serious. And she did the quote at the end. A quote I know, but I didnt care I was still grinning the whole time.
I know my review is scant this week. Come in, friends, tell me what you thought. Talk, share, I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions.

Date: 2010-02-04 03:42 am (UTC)Emily = Awesome, always, no question...and is this the first time they have let her drive....or at least the first time they have shown it?
Clearly Shemar's foot is better and he is getting back to the workouts, cause, DAMN he looked extra yummy tonight
The unsub...totally hot, I mean I doubt I would have parted with any money for him, but it wasn't horrible to look at him for extended scenes
The airplane at the beginning was made of win, between the look on Rossi's face and Em's pilot joke...good times with the twitchy white collar agent
The ending was a little weird, kinda in the same way "the performer" was weird with a random male character looking for a little sympathy from Emily in that last conversation only to get a "shit happens, suck it up and deal with it" response...(not literally, but thats kinda the vibe I get when watching how they interact....maybe clues to how she is compartmentalizing all her crap from this season)
Not sure how much of that made sense, but thats my initial reaction after watching it
Also loved seeing Annabeth Gish back on tv, she and Paget oculd totally be sisters

Date: 2010-02-04 03:48 am (UTC)But OMG, yes to Shemar looking soooooooo good. And this is the first time Emily drove....I mentioned that to my mother during that scene. Also, yeah to her compartmentalization. Though I've also seen her empathetic and wonderful. But I guess since he has to go on another case she had to give him the hard line and not the soft hug.

Date: 2010-02-04 10:46 am (UTC)To be honest,I didn't like this episode.I think this storyline was a bit of a cliché.
Anyway,the next ep looks better.
Though there are a few things I liked:
- Garcia.I love her hair and how she calls Emily Em:D
- Morgan and Hotch,'cos they are always gorgeous.
-
Agent ReyesAnnabeth GishAnd I LOLed at the fact that Emily was the one who mentions the detective's habit to pick his nails.Irony takes a bow.
And the one thing I absolutely did not like:
-The lack of subtext.Again.

Date: 2010-02-04 11:55 am (UTC)Definitely no subtext....less than bupkis. And I still got a story idea though, so I was pretty excited about that. And at least Rossi isnt getting on my last nerve anymore. That makes me happy.
